Givenchy Robot Print Columbian-Fit T-Shirt

14th May 2014
Letting go the best thing I ever had was never an easy option, just over the past few weeks I have sold most of my Givenchy collection through email inquiries, ranging from the earliest Fall Winter 2011 till Spring Summer 2013 menswear which includes the rarest Givenchy Rottweiler Tartan Print Shirt and Givenchy Shark & Mermaid Columbian-Fit T-Shirt in pristine condition that I have held so dearly throughout the years – some say… I must had been out of my mind!
There was a notion that I could no longer continue to wear them, the sense of ownership had been lost through time. The initial reason was because I have outgrown it’s size, which makes the shirt collar extremely difficult to button up. Then there was also the comprehension that I had lost my desirable enjoyment of possessing these demanding designer clothes, in other words I got bored of them. It was a plausible excuse to let them go to whoever that may needed them most. I’m glad that the buyers who bought them are now extremely happy. :)
Moving forward in 2014, I have utilized these residual funds to invest in the latest Givenchy Pre-Spring 2014 and Givenchy Spring Summer 2014 collection. So far I have managed to acquire a number of preferable pieces through prudent selection, if you follow my blog closely you would know which are the best to pick out of the ever rapid transformation collection. And when it comes to Givenchy Pre-Fall 2014 and Givenchy Fall Winter 2014, there will be even much more choices and alternatives available to express your very own personal ‘Givenchy’ identities that will likely affect or even influence everyone’s decision making, therefore we will have to address it with a cautious shopping strategy. More sneak peaks of the upcoming near-future collection will be report here at my blog by the end of this week.

It’s me wearing my new Givenchy Black Robot Print Columbian-Fit T-Shirt! Overworn Topman Black Cotton Shorts and ever desirable Givenchy Palladio Chain Sandals. More advance previews through my Instagram as always, follow me @drblogspot!

The Mechanical Robot Overview

The Givenchy Robot Print Columbian-Fit T-Shirt is a coveted canvas pack with a punch of creativity, since the beginning of the runway showcase at the end of June 2013, the black robot was the first masterpiece that had caught my eyes and I knew it from that moment it has to be mine no matter what it takes. Almost a year later and very much thanks to my dear friend Mr Boombayeh who was so kind to offer me this beautiful piece which has just arrived earlier this month, I am truly satisfied with the purchase that makes me a very proud owner.

Click here to see much more photos and read much more!!!

The Givenchy Black Robot Print T-Shirt has always been my primary choice over the Givenchy Multi-Striped Robot T-Shirt and if you’re not too sure among these two main siblings, there is generous variety for you to choose from, like the also similar Givenchy Multi-Striped Robot T-Shirt in Red-Collar variant, Givenchy Light Blue Robot T-Shirt that was leased earlier and is currently sold out at most places including Matches Fashion, Givenchy Black Robot Panelled T-Shirt as the premium variant current exclusive towards Luisa Via Roma and Givenchy Green Robot T-Shirt for those with a niche taste. All these variety of the same composition are for those who would like to converge the ultimate self-expression and Givenchy lifestyle beacon should probably buy them all. Though there are a numerous readers who prefer the stripes because of it’s added complication characteristics, I argued that the solid background helps to elevate the exuberant red and blue hues of the architectural exoskeleton further by allowing observers to appreciate it’s unique setting at a quick glance.

If you have mixed feelings and who is a gluttonous person living under a budget for the extra quench, then by all means do buy the t-shirt in black and settle the shirt version in stripes as found here. I believe my faith will shortly lead my next purchase towards the Givenchy Striped Robot Print Shirt. The robot is the 5th oversize out of the 7th t-shirt from Givenchy that I have purchased since 2011, despite little has change over time there is a new curve hem, in addition to a longer tail hem that seems to be inspired from the earlier Givenchy Star-Neckline Polo Shirts – I would say the minor tailoring is quite acceptable. The robot print derived from the old computers is truly a remarkable piece of design, it has a beautiful symmetry based on a human infrastructure that incorporates the mechanical elements. One of my all time favorite feature is the back which houses a tail of detailed copper circuit lines that frames a number of vintage computer systems linked with protruding wiring in criss-crossed placement that augments a powerful speed and strength, then it is followed by the enriched gradient blue to what is seems like a blue magnetic tape recorder distributed all over the t-shirt as the prime characteristics.

The future is here with Givenchy Spring Summer 2014, there is a wide range of engaging techno-tribal designs coincide with an array of mechanical components and dated computer systems that we have long forgotten. My genuine advise is, wait no further as this collection will be immensely popular like the once prosperous Givenchy Birds of Paradise, and perhaps sometime later it could be quite lucrative in returns. Match the Givenchy Robot Print Columbian-Fit T-Shirt with the Givenchy Mechanical Bermuda Shorts, Givenchy Robot Electronic Leggings and Givenchy Black Pebbled Sandals to execute the quintessential Givenchy style.

Givenchy Camouflage Stripe Star-Print Collar Stay Shirt

24th February 2014
During it’s first inception, the Givenchy Pre-Spring 2014 menswear collection was once regarded as a complex disaster, the meaning behind ‘favelas’ did not convince the many taste of confident men wearing cross-prints. But for now, the masculine prints interpreted in a feminine manner seems to have won the hearts of many fashion consumers and is deemed a successor over the late Givenchy Pre-Fall 2013 and Fall Winter 2013. I’ve even seen a shopper recently in his mid 50’s rocking the Givenchy Camo Flower-Print Panelled Shirt! Which sometimes makes me wonder whether i’ll still be wearing fancy clothes when I reach that age. This collection seems to be enjoyed by almost everyone because of it’s unique thematic unlike any other.
There are a few items that are selling out quick too, so be generous to grab while you can as the popular print will not stay and likely sellout in an instant, such as the Givenchy Bambi Print T-Shirt earlier spotted in women’s FW13, Givenchy Star Floral Print T-Shirt that depicts it’s details from the famous Birds of Paradise collection, Givenchy Floral Shark & Mermaid T-Shirt that triumph from the Givenchy Pre-Fall 2011, Givenchy Pink Velcro Rose Print Shirt that was initially detested and has became the latest icon of all floral prints, Givenchy Embroidered-Star Contrast Jersey Shirt that was taken from the Givenchy Fall Winter 2012, and my latest prediction of the Givenchy Camouflage Reverse Print Shirt including it’s navy and orange camo accessories which will soon be the next hottest print for this season — just to name a few interesting items since this is quite a huge collection just for the start.

I’ve started early in this season by acquiring a few key pieces since everyone is so keen in shopping early before the main Spring Summer 2014 even begin — who knew that the Givenchy Spring Summer 2014 menswear pre-order is also selling out as fast as the Pre-Spring collection? My earliest acquisition was the Givenchy Bambi Print Cuban-Fit T-Shirt, and soon after was the Givenchy Palladio Chain Sandals. Currently both pieces are sold out everywhere except the sandals are still in stock at Farfetch, limited sizes though that fits EU44 and above. And now my most recent purchased from Givenchy is a very unique piece that is just available at Farfetch. I’ve only seen this print design in-store much earlier and fell in love with it at first sight. Contributing to my desire were also because i’ve missed out in purchasing the first version that was available in the last Givenchy Fall Winter 2013 menswear collection – the Givenchy White Star-Printed Gold Collar Stay Shirt. Which has also returned in 2014 with a revised version in white colour printed collar-stay instead.

It’s me wearing my new Givenchy Camouflage Stripe Star-Print Collar Stay Shirt from the Givenchy Pre-Spring 2014, my classic Givenchy Black Wool-Blend Drop 8 Single-Breasted Suit mainly worn for work and the old Christian Louboutin Freddy Spikes Mens Flat Shoe. Shop my Givenchy look:

The shirt has a complicated name virtue by many of it’s exclusive characteristics – if you take notice on it’s generous offering. I’ve decided to call it the Givenchy Camouflage Stripe Star-Print Collar Stay Shirt, a long name indeed. This pretty pretty cotton poplin shirt is printed in light blue camouflage like it’s navy blue x orange and desert print cousin variation, but with changes that are far more dramatic. One of it’s main features are the twin front spread collar detail with a special collar-stay insert, much like the common traditional business shirts but with a reverse insert detailing. The collar-stays are camouflage printed as the same blue of the shirt with a tiny black star print at the edge of every tab conveying the label’s signature star motif. Unlike the predecessor version, it is a regular-fit that fits slightly looser at the waist than the slim-fit in Givenchy Fall Winter 2013.
The Givenchy Camouflage Stripe Star-Print Collar Stay Shirt is an eye catching piece that remixes contrasting camouflage and stripes, the white and light blue tones work equally well with it’s distinctive collar design and will compliment with most dark outfits. But it is much more of a dress shirt than a casual one, as it has a longer than usual shirt-tail hem which requires to be tucked in rather than having it untucked. I’ve also receive many comments from my colleagues and strangers regarding it’s unique collar and pleasant eye-catchy camouflage print.

This is a great shirt with many highlighting details to offer in a thoroughly modern affair, a classic silhouette that receives an unprecedented camouflage motif printed with additional contrast stripes and an exposed colour collar inserts. Resulting in a classic being transformed into a dynamic leading conception unlike any other shirt design. Though the other Givenchy camouflage prints are priced not by much of a difference, but really when it comes to luxury clothing, we all know it is always worth paying that little bit extra to upgrade to the finest. And do you know what? That perfectly sums up this new Givenchy. :)

Welcome To My Life

18th February 2014
It has been a challenging year in 2013, i’ve accepted a new job in the city and full-time work with blog doesn’t really mix well, much like blending champagne with alcoholic rum for lunch time. As work life has progressed and taken most of my optimum energy — time to me is very previous and I would seize every opportunity to keep this blog up to date.

I’ve decided to make it a little more interesting than ever by taking it to the next level. All a while it has been commercially driven by product reviews and recommendations, runway shows, backstage photographs, advance sneak peeks, buyer event’s, size guide, rare items blog about and etceteras — specialising in the brands that I still love most today, mainly Balmain and Givenchy, blogging with the most passion and love to fill in the missing contents on the net.

But for this year, i’ve thought about a new strategy unlike anything before. It needed much more than a long detailed review and a partially cropped face lookbook — some of you might like to call it ‘Personality’. All those expensive shopping without the frequent chance of expressing my true identity is a wasted opportunity that could contribute extra value to achieve greater work than ever. Therefore after a long thought, I have decided it is the time to expose my lifestyle in hope to create new inspiration one step at a time.

It’s me wearing my favorite Givenchy Rottweiler-Tartan Print Shirt with Givenchy Brown Oversize Wool Shorts and new Givenchy Palladio Chain Sandals! Pre-order or shop similar styles at Givenchy, Luisa Via Roma

Nike R.T. Air Force 1 Riccardo Tisci Sneaker

25th January 2014
It wasn’t long ago Nike announced that it will be having a collaboration project with Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci. The collaboration not only includes a footwear collection, but also a small clothing line extension.
After the first teaser image of Riccardo Tisci‘s upcoming collaboration with Nike a matter of weeks ago, and a small sneak peek published by Vogue, Riccardo Tisci has just unveiled an image of the his Nike collaboration footwear via his Instagram a few hours ago. The Parisian creative director has designed four types of different basketball trainers, using one of the brand’s most iconic style — The Nike Air Force 1. It is not to our surprise that he has chose the original Nike Air Force 1 as his starting point as the basketball trainer always features distinctive similarities in comparison with his Givenchy High-Top Sneaker.

Tisci describes that the sportswear giant collaboration is somehow very personally related to his childhood’s aspiration. To him, the essence of the Nike Air Force 1 is a pair of universal shoe that could be worn in many different ways, therefore has chosen it has the platform to work with his own statement.

The Nike R.T. Air Force 1 Sneaker collection is expected to be released from 1st of March 2014 through 1st of April 2014, the collection include a white or black option featuring bold contrast lines and colour accents that attributes the hallmark of Riccardo Tisci’s recent inspiration from the Givenchy Spring Summer 2014 menswear techno-tribal collection towards the latest bauhaus basketball Givenchy Fall Winter 2014 menswear, blurring the lines between high-end street fashion.

The four style editions will be available globally at selected retailer and on Nike Lab — Nike R.T. Air Force 1 Low-Top, Nike R.T. Air Force 1 Mid-Top, Nike R.T. Air Force 1 High-Top, and the unconventional Nike R.T. Air Force 1 Boots that were earlier revealed in publish. Retail price starts at $225 but resell value is expected to hit high if the collection is released in limited quantities. Though there will be future questions regarding comparison with the Givenchy sneakers designed by the same creative director.
