Giuseppe Zanotti Metal-Plated Black Leather High-Top Sneakers

8th September 2014

The Giuseppe Zanotti Metal-Plated High-Top Sneakers is undoubtedly the ultimate metal-plated high-top series of its kind and sports as the leading flagship sneaker in Giuseppe Zanotti Fall Winter 2013. Bold, beautiful and beguiling, it looks and feels like the product of an Italian designer company at the top of its game.

A year since the Giuseppe Zanotti Metal-Plated High-Top Sneakers was launched, it has made just as many waves as the profound classic double-bracelet series. The rigid silver-tonal metal bracelet house a fold-over velcro strap with signature-logo etched at the top vamp closure, but the real head turner feature here is the main gigantic one-piece constructed metal plaque which captures the power of luminosity, adding intrigue detailing more than the premium over contemporary double-bracelet editions.

Key specifications features a flat black leather exterior, tonal stitching, and rubber sole revolves the highest standard of luxurious materials epitomised from delicate textured finishes. The sleek hardware element accented the modernity sneaker through contrast refinement details, offering striking good looks and poise when you over step shoe game limits. “These are sneakers from the future,” said a friend who was captivated by the evocative silhouette and daylight eye-blinding mirror plates. Shop a range of diversified Giuseppe Zanotti Design men’s shoes available at multiple global boutiques in Farfetch.

But when you delve the extra large metal plaque that sit just right above the toes, it’s not such a great ideal as it first appear when footwear flexibility comes into play, as there is a bit far less practicality to go with. Other daily maintenance concerns includes the hardware rubbing into the upper vamp and cap-toe over a few wears which eventually eats into part of the delicate calf-skin finish. Nevertheless, this issue is a common Giuseppe Zanotti design imperfection that can be mitigated with a shoe polish.

I’ve always wanted the Giuseppe Zanotti Metal-Plated Black Leather High-Top Sneakers as it has been one of the most desirable and grandiose Giuseppe Zanotti high-top sneakers one can find in the marketplace. Many thanks to a devoted reader from Singapore who has convinced me to make the right decision and purchase this iconic statement piece that has delivered head-turning looks with real world usability. The best part is, they don’t make them anymore (at the moment) which encapsulates it’s rarity and questionable future residual value. Fetch the last few pairs fast! As the remaining sizes are only limited available at SSENSE for now, since the prosperous Italian designer is currently focusing on much more berserk experimental seasonal designs such as the 2014’s signature chain series, they even made a chain embellished edition which looks stunning in a spectrum of shades!

Givenchy Richelieu Metal-Plate Buckle Shoes

14th March 2014
Spotted under the radar in new arrivals this week is a pair of exceptionally unique dress shoes from Givenchy. Surprising news as the Givenchy Richelieu Metal-Plate Buckle Lace-Up Shoe is now officially available for commercial sale. The iconic pair was first offered at Selfridges & Co., second leading to Lane Crawford and now at SSENSE since the beginning of March 2014.
We have previously forecast that the availability of the shoe was to be offered collectively for Givenchy Fall Winter 2014, much like the Givenchy Palladio Chain Sandals that were initially proposed for Pre-Spring 2013 season was made available in-conjunction with the recent Pre-Spring 2014 menswear collection. Read more about the Givenchy Metal Buckle Leather Shoes Fall Winter 2013.
It has been more than a year since it was first revealed in the Givenchy Fall Winter 2013 menswear fashion show, various snippets of the pair were featured in global editorial magazine spread throughout Fall Winter 2013 for further admiration and sigh over the privation footwear, due to contracted manufacturing issues.
There are minor differences between the runway sample and commercial pair for 2014. The main highlights between both are similar, this season’s featured metal-plate buckle is available in mirror silver finish comparative to the matte silver or black brush prototype versions. This current variant derives from the time honoured Givenchy Richelieu Lace-Up Shoes, it is a basic calf-leather shoe with lace-up details merit from it’s distinctive silhouette that was officially made available for every season as part of the classic designer collection.

Elegance is one word to describe Michael B. Jordan, as he was decked out head to toe in the latest Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci for the 86th Academy Awards held at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, California earlier this month. Micheal wore the exclusive Givenchy Richelieu Metal-Plated Buckle Lace-Up Shoe with the following Givenchy Black Wool Tuxedo Blazer from Givenchy Pre-Spring 2014, a bold solid black satin tie and an unidentified Givenchy White Poplin Cotton Shirt with Embellished Star-Collar Chain Detail yet to be revealed in stores. Shop Michael B. Jordon’s complete look at Givenchy menswear in SSENSE.

Givenchy Black Doberman Print Shirt

11th December 2013
The Doberman is the precedent revision of Riccardo Tisci’s severely popular Rottweiler ‘Angry Dog’ from the not long ago Givenchy Fall Winter 2011 menswear collection. An abstract graphic digital-painted doberman face that consist of random coloured patches on a plain black cotton. It’s painterly effect refines the powerful Parisian label known for its global elegance in streetwear.
Just about a month ago, I was approached by one of the private sellers about this beautifully designed shirt, he made me an offer that I could not refuse. The shirt version of Givenchy menswear has always been my first category choice when compared to the Doberman -t-shirt, sweatshirt, jacket and accessories collection – now also available in a clutch, backpack and scarf. It was my initial choice since the inception of the Pre-Fall more than a year ago, which also means the Givenchy Pre-Fall 2014 Menswear Collection is due to be showcased very soon!
The Givenchy Doberman Print Cotton Poplin Shirt is not quite like my other Givenchy shirts including the most recently purchased Givenchy Naked Man-Orchid Rubber-Print Shirt from the Fall Winter 2013 collection. Besides it’s eccentric characteristics, the print houses a thicker cotton material conveying an extra touch of premium feeling than the standard cotton poplin shirts. The tricky painterly effect from its singular brush stroke design assembles the face of it’s constructed doberman print, a masterpiece though not express as gruesome as it’s rottweiler cousin gives off a dark mysterious vibe.
Frankly speaking it is not an easy shirt to mix and match, it doesn’t offer much flexibility in terms of repetition to wear due to the distinctive nature unless you have the luxury to own the entire season’s collection to play with. This uber-cool fashion shirt requires to be paired with essential black coloured bottoms to compliment it’s overpowering design, the blurry print is an understated style that further appeals attraction by the contrasting highlights in striking red and orange hues. It is a very special shirt that begs to be worn but only for weekend occasions.

Givenchy Metal Buckle Leather Shoes

1st December 2013
The Givenchy Fall Winter 2013 shoes designed by Riccardo Tisci show that less is actually more. Interestingly, the base design derives from the basic Givenchy Calf-Leather Lace-Up Shoe which has been restyled uniquely for almost every season.
Since it’s commercial absence from Fall Winter 2012 – 2013, there are speculations that the runway Givenchy Metal-Buckle Leather Shoes will be going into production and maybe made available along with the Givenchy Fall Winter 2014 collection, FYI pre-order starts at the first two weeks of June 2014. Read the Givenchy Fall Winter 2013 Menswear Collection.
The unique feature of this pair starts off with the high-grade silver brushed aluminium metal buckle that secures the upper vamp to your feet. A rather chunky trapezium piece as a mere appendage that houses above the traditional shoe lace eyelid, producing a distinctive trademark that will cause your eyes to linger on the extravagance of the design and the polished craftsmanship. However there is a distinct difference between the runway variant and commercial standard which offers a mirror finish metal buckle instead of the brushed. See the full Givenchy Fall Winter 2013 Shoes and Accessories.
The Givenchy Fall Winter 2013 Metal-Buckle Leather Shoes embody a futuristic elegance. From afar, the shoes make it seem as though your feet are cuffed down by the sole and will likely raise curious questions from onlookers. Suggested price starts off at $1,485 for the United States retail market. LuisaViaRoma is now on sale! Catch the big Fall Winter 2013 sale!
